Regen J. Shanzer
Ms. Shanzer is an associate who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. Her primary practice with the Firm includes the areas of litigation, banking and financial services, and creditors’ rights, and representing banks and investors in a variety of matters. Ms. Shanzer also handles class action defense and multi-district litigation (MDL), products liability, and environmental and toxic torts matters.
Ms. Shanzer is experienced in the following specific fields: Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditor’s-Debtors’ Rights; Business & Commercial Litigation; Class Action Defense & Toxic Torts; Products Liability; Receivership Litigation; and Workouts and Debt Restructuring. Through her prior plaintiff work experience, she has extensive skill in cross-examining and reviewing the reports of neuropsychologists. Ms. Shanzer previously served as a judicial clerk with the Honorable Maxine Cohen-Lando at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Ms. Shanzer is a member of the American Bar Association (Member, Young Lawyer Division), the Dade County Bar Association (Young Lawyer Society – Member, Sports, Business Outreach, and Bids for Kids Committees), The Florida Bar (Member, Sections on Business Law and Trial Lawyer), the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and the Junior League of Miami.
Ms. Shanzer is a 2005 graduate of the Fredric G. Levin College of Law, J.D., and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
